Flow to Depth
Yoga + Freedive Line Training | Port Stephens
OVERVIEW
This session combines beach yoga with coached freedive line training to help you arrive in the water feeling relaxed, connected and ready to dive.
Rather than rushing straight into the ocean, we begin on land — creating space to breathe, move and reset before taking those skills into the water.
Held at Little Beach in Port Stephens and limited to small groups, Flow to Depth is designed for certified freedivers looking for more intentional training and quality time in the ocean.

A slower, more intentional way to train.
We begin on the grass at Little Beach with a guided yoga session led by Tegan Anne from Salt Wandering.
Tegan brings together movement, breath and a deep connection to the ocean, creating sessions that help people slow down, open up and feel more grounded before getting in the water.
Expect a gentle flow focused on mobility, breath awareness and preparing the body for diving.
From there, we head into the ocean for a coached freedive line training on our 20m setup led by Rob from Squids Dive Co — PFI Freediving Instructor and SDI Scuba Instructor.
Rob combines a relaxed coaching style with years of diving experience across freediving, spearfishing and scuba to help divers train safely, build confidence and get more out of their time on the line.

Rob
Lead Instructor | SDI Scuba Instructor | PFI Freediving & Spearfishing InstructorRob is the engine room behind Squids. Equal parts instructor, gear nerd and professional hype man, he somehow manages to make complex skills feel simple and intimidating environments feel approachable.
A certified SDI Scuba Instructor and PFI Freediving and Spearfishing Instructor, Rob is also a passionate cave diver who never misses an opportunity to talk equipment, streamline a setup, or explain why your next piece of gear definitely matters.
Outside the water, Rob is an adrenaline junkie through and through — with a background in paragliding, skydiving, BASE jumping, rock climbing and kite surfing. Teaching has always come naturally to him, and nothing beats seeing someone leave the water more confident than when they arrived.
Tegan
Yoga Instructor | Snorkel Guide | Molchanovs Wave 2 FreediverTegan is the founder of Salt Wandering, a yoga instructor, passionate Molchanovs Wave 2 freediver and marine biologist. Her work brings together movement, breath and a deep connection to the ocean to create experiences that help people slow down and reconnect with themselves and the natural world around them.
With an understanding of both the science and feeling of being in the water, Tegan’s sessions are designed to support mobility, breath awareness and nervous system regulation in a way that feels relaxed, approachable and grounding. Her beachside yoga flows encourage people to arrive feeling calmer, more open and more connected before entering the ocean.
Whether you’re new to yoga or already have a regular practice, Tegan creates a welcoming space that complements freediving and helps people get more out of their time in the water.

ABOUT SQUIDS DIVE CO
Built by Ocean People
Squids Dive Co wasn’t created to be another cookie-cutter dive shop or high-volume tourist operation. It was built by two locals genuinely obsessed with the ocean, adventure, and helping people discover what’s possible underwater. From the very beginning, our vision was simple: create the kind of dive company we’d actually want to book ourselves — small groups, real coaching, relaxed vibes, genuine connection, and unforgettable experiences in the water. What started as a simple idea has grown into a passionate ocean community based in beautiful Port Stephens, bringing together divers, snorkellers, freedivers, spearos, and ocean lovers who feel most alive by the sea.
